WELCOMING PARTY |
Welcoming party is an activity done at the beggining of every academic year aimed at welcoming all fresh students (Generic, mature entry, masters and PHD students) to the University more especially to the family of God. At the closure of every academic year, a committee is chose to organise and facilitate the function. The club believes that first impression is always important and takes it of value to identify its new members and incorporate them into different church activities. The function of welcoming the students is open to occur at any place within or without the campus. |

CAMPUS CRUSADE |
Campus crusades are evangelistic meetings held on campus with aims of bringing hope and spiritual reformation in students. These meetings target both adventists and non-adventists and are usually held for atleast two weeks. Preachers are called from within the country (Malawi) and may include pastors or evangelists. At the end of the crusade, members understanding the need for a renewal of their lives are given an opportunity of baptism after which are welcomed into the church of God and continue to learn more biblical doctrines. Before 2015/2016 academic year, only one campus crusade was done annually; but later the executive thought it wise to hold the crusades per semester. All campus crusades are funded by the Adventist students themselves but help from external sources is most welcome. |

MAIN CRUSADE (OUTREACH) |
At the end of every academic year, the Adventist club holds major crusades that target rural areas within the central region. Due to the growing numbers of Adventist students, the crusades are done in several districts within the same period. Initially only one crusade was possible but from 2013/2014 academic year, the club began to hold two crusades in different areas and by 2015/2016 the club was able to initiate the conduction of three crusades within the same period. Funding of the main crusades largely comes from well wishers within the city of Lilongwe. In some cases, well wishers from outside Lilongwe also help both financially and materially. The greatest well wisher has been the Forward for Christ Crusades ministry (FCC) which funds the evangelistic meetings by providing the club with a public address system and a remarkable sum of money. The crusades are done for three weeks and end with a baptism which is led by church officials within the Central region. |

FINALE FAREWELL PARTY |
At the closure of every academic year, students in their final year of study are bid farewell. A trip to recreational centers is organised and both the finales and continuing students participate. Its a spiritual refreshment that sees the finales celebrate for their wonderful works in the club done during their stay on campus. The meetings also involve a motivational talk by a selected prominent person. The talk serves as an advise to the finales as they venture into the industry while to the continuing students it encourages hard work for better outcome at the end of their academic journey. Both the welcoming and finale farewell parties are graced by the patron of the club. |
